Our Community

St. Paulinus is a Church of England Primary School.  We have very close links with our Parish Church of St. Paulinus where classes take it in turns to attend the weekly Wednesday morning Eucharist Service and other important services in the church calendar.

Our daily Act of Worship takes place in the school hall and is led by either Father Paul, Revd Amanda, the Parish Priest, other local Clergy or school staff.

The School and the Church have very close links and work together to develop and nurture the spiritual needs of the children and staff. Fr Paul, the rector of St Paulinus, is also a member of the school governing body.  He involves himself in the life of the school engaging in Christian learning and supporting both staff and students alike.

As part of the Churches together in Crayford, other Christian ministers from Crayford also join the school for worship on different occasions.

The church endeavours to cater for all in its “liberal catholic style”.  Toddler church enables the young children and parents to join in worship, followed by refreshment in the church youth hall on Thursday mornings. Family worship is held once a month and Sunday school and crèche facilities are available on Sunday mornings during our main worship at 10 am.  Refreshments are held after most services for a time of fellowship.

To find out more about the history of the Church, which has stood in on Crayford hill for over 900 years, or how to get involved in the life of the church, please visit the church website.

Parental Withdrawal

Parents have the right to withdraw children from religious education teaching and from the daily act of worship. However, it is anticipated that by choosing St. Paulinus, parents will support the Christian ethos and teaching of the school.
